Last-Minute Shopping

Tired, sleepy, and exhausted, these are the words that define my current state. After twelve hours of travel, I reach home to surprise my family, only to find out that my maa has a long pending list of Diwali shopping that she was thinking of completing today. (What a surprise!)
Ever since then, I have been running to and fro to collect everything I can for the Diwali celebrations. I will probably take a nap after writing this blog, so if I blabber in between you know it’s neend ka nasha talking.
I just don’t understand these ladies, to be honest. I mean you know Diwali is near, so start shopping na dheere-dheere, but noooo… Where’s the fun in that? We will do everything last minute.
Well, it’s not just my house, so I think that’s something with everyone all over India.
I don’t understand why everyone is running to the markets, when markets can come to them. Arey nahi, I am not talking about these websites where you order and you can expect the delivery after 4-5 days, or even a week, at times.
I am talking about the local (verified) merchants who are just a click away on your phone. You can browse their inventory and choose anything you like. You will get all your selected items in less than a day (trust me, this is exaggerated… you will get your items in a couple of hours).
*A long stifling yawn later*
Oh, yes this app is known as LMO. And with this app not only you can shop from local merchants but also you have the chance to avail the best offers and deals.
You really don’t want to miss out on that, do you?
Okay, my maa is calling again, it’s time to take another trip to the market when you’re sleepy. Let’s just all pray that I don’t ram my scooter into anyone.
And, on that note, happy holidays!
